Last week, I had the pleasure of presenting a paper on the decarbonization of a Forging Furnace at the 4th International Ingot Casting, Rolling, and Forging Conference in Pittsburgh. The conference, organized by AIST – Association for Iron & Steel Technology was well-attended by producers and suppliers. The presentations were particularly interesting and topical, and the follow-up discussions offered great insight into the aspirations and direction of the industry.
