Servicing our customers’ galvanizing furnaces gives us an opportunity to observe the production from some very impressive operations. Yes, our focus was on optimizing the combustion system (proper High Fire and Low Fire settings for the pulse-fired burners), setting the waste gas damper, and checking out the control system. But even so, how can you not marvel at the beautiful galvanized coating as this pipe is lifted out of the molten zinc bath.
