CIC Pittsburgh announces the recent delivery of this lab-scale galvanizing furnace. While it is a small unit, its impact may outsize its physical dimensions. This furnace is heated with electric heating elements instead of a combustion system. In light of recent trends towards the decarbonization of manufacturing, we may soon start building full production-scale galvanizing furnaces that are 100% electrically heated.
