Yes, it sure has been busy this year for CIC Pittsburgh, as we have installed and commissioned four new Hot Dip Galvanizing Furnaces at plants in the USA.
Our third installation replaced an old and problematic side-fired furnace with a new state-of-the-art pulse-fired end-fired furnace. The furnace was designed with six high velocity burners, greatly simplifying the furnace maintenance and operation.
The project schedule for this installation was very closely coordinated to minimize down-time.
