So far this year, CIC Pittsburgh has installed and commissioned four new Hot Dip Galvanizing Furnaces at plants. This post highlights the second furnace installation.
This furnace was installed at a high productivity facility, built right next to the old furnace that it would soon replace. The furnace is equipped with six pulse-fired high velocity burners and CIC Pittsburgh’s furnace controls. This particular furnace control system was equipped with our proprietary Burner Insight System that monitors the firing performance and fuel efficiency of each burner.
Also installed with this installation is an enclosure with electrically-actuated end doors and side doors. We love this shot of the sun shining through the pole about to be dipped!
