CIC Pittsburgh has just completed the installation and commissioning of our newest hot dip galvanizing furnace. The furnace is designed to heat a kettle measuring 33’ long x 5’ wide x 8’ deep, and to support a production rate of 26,000 lbs/hr. It replaces an existing furnace that has reached its end of life.
The new furnace is heated with pulse-fired high velocity burners, operating in CIC Pittsburgh’s advanced Cascade Control to maximize efficiency and kettle life.
